Cancer may take a life but it never takes a soul.

No one wants to watch a family member die of cancer. It's a horrible thing to witness.

Mom died when I was twenty of pancreatic cancer. What I remember the most was what happened after she died.

I "saw" her consciousness leave her body. Of course, there was nothing to see with my eyes but I felt it in my body. I knew, at that moment, that life goes on after the death of the body.
