Is Intuition Real or Just Imagination?

Nov 14, 2021

What's the difference between intuition, imagination, and "real" life?

I heard someone talking the other day about this topic, and the implication of what he said was that intuition wasn't "real life." At least, that's what I heard. To him, intuition was more imagination than real. It was something we were all making up.

I was so glad I heard him say this because it sparked a greater awareness of what is real and a desire to share that understanding.

I always like to start conversations about ethereal topics from the same place. So let's start there.

Non-physical consciousness is the energy behind the physical experience.

Physical reality deteriorates. This is our proof that it's not the real us. Physical reality is a projection of our non-physical consciousness seen through a lens of limitation for eternal expansion. Pretty cool, yes?

Let's blend in the idea that energy is neither created nor destroyed; it changes form.

From this premise, it makes a lot more sense that non-physical energy is the real us. The physical experience is eternal non-physical energy changing its form to create a physical POV (point of view).

Consciousness is multidimensional Nonphysically focused energy and intelligence that is reflective. It can reflect on itself. It is self-aware. It can reflect upon itself in an auto-expansive capacity. It can change. It knows that it is changing and makes choices relative to that information.

Intuition is a real-time communicative facet of this non-physical consciousness that's the real us.

When we divide our energy into two POVs that appear separate, we can have what we interpret as an individualized physical experience. We have what we perceive as our body, mind, and spirit, appearing very separate from others. It even seems different from spirit for most people. I'll transition back to spirit when I die, they think.

Intuition is a language. It's a way of communicating information from our non-physically focused consciousness to the physically focused part of us experiencing ourselves as tangible. This is our proof that we're not separate. We still have an up-to-date and relevant open line of communication with Source.

This brings us to the question of this blog post. Is intuition real or just imagination? Both.

Intuition is a component of the non-physically focused part of your consciousness that provides real-time, accurate information that you can use for any purpose. It can use your imagination as a means of translation, providing you with thoughts, ideas, and musings, or it can use another methodology such as clairsentience, clairaudience, claircognizance, or clairvoyance.

You can use intuitive information to make decisions and better understand your next best step. It's reliable because it's always available. Its signal never goes offline. Intuition knows what you're resistant to and what you're most likely to allow because it is you. It's part of the broader non-physical aspect of you. It's always got the mountain-top perspective while you're trudging through the jungle below.

Intuition is innate and non-binary. It is not more available in females than males or in specific populations of people based on geographic location. It is equally available to any human because we're all non-physically focused energy, having the experience of reflecting on ourselves from the POV of separation.

Pretty cool when you think about it.
